Nauru flag is of 1:2 ratio, where the flag is spread on blue field. The flag is cut horizontally by a golden line and has a 12 pointed star beneath it. Blue color represents Pacific Ocean, Golden bar represents Equator, positioning of star represents island geographical positioning below Equator. White color of star represents phosphorous natural resource which fetched huge wealth for island, 12 points of star represent tribes of Island. Thickness of golden bar is 1/24th of length of flag.
