Palau flag is of 5:8 ratio, where the flag is spread on blue field and has a disc at center of flag which represents Full Moon. Blue color represent pacific ocean or transformation from a dependent country to independent nation. Yellow disc represent full moon where human activity is optimum, it also represents peace, love and tranquility. The moon is positioned off from center towards hoist side.
