Botswana flag is of 2:3 ratio, where the horizontal strips are in ratio of 9:1:4:1:9 by width. Blue color stands for rain which is precious resource and is needed for existence of country because of Kalahari desert arid nature. White and black color represent the two ethnic natures of country which co-exist or Zebra stripes which is national animal of country.
