South Sudan

South Sudan flag is of 1:2 ratio, where the flag is divided into 5 horizontal sections and the horizontal sections widths are in 3:0.5:3:0.5:3 ratio assuming flag height is of 10 units. The red chevron in the flag is positioned at center of flag. The black color denote African origin, Blue color denote waters of Nile river, green color denotes vegetation in the country, white color denotes peace attained after gaining independence, red color denotes blood shed to gain independence, yellow color represents unity of south Sudan states
