Sao Tome and Principe flag is of 1:2 ratio where horizontal strips are of 1:1.5:1 ratio by width, the triangle median is of 1/3rd width of flag. Green, yellow and red colors are Pan-African colors, where red represent blood shed by people of country, two black stars represent two islands of country and represent black nature of people
