France flag is popular among west as tricolor, it is of 2:3 ratio where vertical stripes are at 30:33:37 ratio. There are multiple interpretation for the colors, red and blue are popular colors among french people. Blue represents bourgeoisie or servile class, white represents clergy class, red represents royal or noble class is one representation while another interpretation says blue for liberty, white for equality and red for fraternity.
